Our 23 litres Beer Kits

Our 23 litres Beer Kits:

NOTE: The bitterness of the beer is provided by compounds such as humulenes, or alpha acids from the hops used during brewing. The scale, International Bittering units, or simply the IBU scale, is the quantitative value designated to measure the bitterness of beer. This scale does not measure the perceived bitterness of beer, but the amount of iso-alpha acids that gives the beer bitterness. The higher the IBU, the more bitterness will be present.

Micro Brew has created a real Pilsner. Its golden hue and low bitterness, are refreshing on the palate.
It has a floral nose with some notes of honey. Saaz hops give this beer herbaceous and spicy notes. The yeast included in the kit allows low temperature fermentation.
It is important to ferment it at low temperature if you want to keep the fresh and dry characters that are typical of a Pilsner.

Let this beer ferment for 1 week between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius. Raise the temperature between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius for the second week. Bottle and store the  beer between 2 and 5 degrees Celsius for 1 to 2 months before tasting. (You can do a room temperature fermentation, but the beer will not have as clean and crisp a character).
